*Due to the specialist nature of the processes involved in the calibration and testing of loadcells using our deadweight machines in our UKAS force laboratory, we are unable to offer a 5-day turn-around on the calibration or testing of load cells. All force calibration and testing, using our deadweight machines, is therefore exempt from our 5-day turnaround guarantee.

The process for calibration of force measurement devices involves the comparison of applied forces in a test environment to ISO standards. The standard tested against defines the range and accuracy of the device being calibrated.
Devices regularly used in force measurement applications need to undergo precise force calibration, so they can be depended on to deliver their expected performance.
#2 How often should I calibrate force measurement devices?
We recommend an annual calibration to ensure that your force measurement devices are performing as expected and they conform to manufacturers standards. More frequent calibration may be desired depending on frequency of use.
