Our laboratory team calibrate temperature equipment using state-of-the-art metrology wells and highly accurate reference probes, alongside precision temperature scanners, at our Calibration Laboratory in Birmingham.
Thermocouple calibration and thermometer calibration can be carried out using 2 methods to make sure they remain accurate for as long as possible.
The calibration of temperature measuring equipment is traceable to national standards, carried out to ITS-90.
For hassle-free temperature calibrations, we recommend you use our collect and return service for 8 or more items, carried out by one of our local technicians.
Make a saving per item by sending your temperature equipment to our Calibration Laboratory via your own preferred delivery method and we’ll return the items by courier.

Temperature is a critical measurement for ensuring the safety and quality of many products. It is recommended that thermometers, thermocouples and temperature monitoring equipment be calibrated regularly, with new equipment being checked for accuracy upon receipt and before being put into service.

If your electrical tester or instrument cannot be calibrated or is uneconomical to repair, we will contact you straight away and offer a branded like-for-like replacement. We will supply the replacement calibrated to your original order requirements.
There are two methods which can be used to calibrate thermocouples, thermometers and temperature probes; tolerance testing and characterisation testing.
